This popular saying from the Algarve gives us permission to open ourselves up a little, stretch our wings a little bit further. In the book “Os Provérbios estão Vivos no Algarve” edited by José Ruivinho Brazão, there is an alternate version of this saying trading the poet for a sage. Naturally, we chose the one with the poet!

The block letter font is based on the lettering on a vintage bakelite spelling set from an old grade school.
