This bookmark is inspired by a pattern found on a house façade we pass by on the way to Poço Novo from Loulé, in the Algarve. Old lace from this façade extends its reading while the olivewood tells the story of the grove, supported by colorful burel wool. And the burel wool, once destined for shepherds’ capes, communicates centuries of spinning and weaving of wool from the Bordaleira sheep of Serra da Estrela.
