In 2016 we founded our workshop in the Algarve to explore sustainable materials and techniques. Every detail of our designs is a tribute to the rural heritage that surrounds us, and every piece we make is our way of sharing it.
These bespoke drawings from Merkhabala reveal all the details of the typical fish from the artisanal fisheries in the Algarve. We cut the fine contours of each vibrant blue serigraph in our workshop, to create these fish from cardstock and cork. Each one is close to real size, to hide in your book and leap from its pages.
